Tuesday, May 18th - Petra Pope, Creative Director, Pope3Squared

An innovator in the specialized discipline of events and entertainment for the sports industry, Petra Pope began her career with the Los Angeles Lakers where she lead the Los Angeles Lakers Girls to stardom!

As she moved to New York, she created the Knicks City Dancers and Knicks City Kids as well as collaborating on all the entertainment for the New York Knicks and New York Liberty. While with the Knicks Petra spearheaded many “firsts” such as Knicks Bowl and KCD dance camps as income generating programs.

In 2005 Petra was hired to produce a “best in class” in game experience for the New Jersey Nets. While with the Nets Petra was promoted to Vice President as she lead the Community Relations department and the newly created Events department. In 2009 Petra was promoted to Senior Vice President as she lead the Events team in facilitating over 300 events for the opening of Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

In 2015 Petra left Barclays Center to start her own company POPE3SQUARED, where she consults with other sports teams on their In-Game Experience. Petra has consulted the LA Clippers, Milwaukee Bucks and most recently has started consulting the Washington Football Team.

Petra holds a Black Belt in Karate, speaks fluent German and lives in Harlem with her Husband and Rottweiler.
