Tuesday, April 20th - LaTosha Smith, Director, Special Events, Durham Bulls Baseball Club

LaTosha is currently the Director of Special Events for Durham Bulls Baseball Club, the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.  Her responsibilities include managing the overall strategy for marketing, sales, and logistics for revenue-generating events on non-game days.  A new role to the organization, LaTosha is the lead in expanding the special events brand through building relationships, providing best in class customer service and booking a variety of events including concerts and festivals.

Previously, LaTosha was the Event Manager for UNC Chapel Hill working to increase community awareness, advocacy, and donor support for the university through events. 

In 2007, she began her career in sports with the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center for over 7 years.  Her responsibilities in the event marketing department included managing areas such as community, sponsor and season ticket holder events, global travel, and stakeholder hospitality.  LaTosha was the lead of the premium events team during the opening of the Barclays Center in 2012.

Thursday, April 22nd - Dominique Oliveto, Director, Producer and Photographer

Dominique is a Director, Producer and Photographer based in LA. Oliveto started her journey in entertainment 8 years ago, focusing on the marketing and content side of the sports business. Her career has  made impressive stops at various teams and entities such as the Boston Celtics, Boston College, Chelsea Piers, GMR Marketing, and the NBA league office.

In 2018, she relocated from New York City to Los Angeles, leaving her job at the NBA to pursue her passions as a Director/Producer and creative. As a freelance creative, she has directed and produced feature stories and campaigns for powerhouse brands and personalities such as Nike, NBA G League, NBPA, Airbnb, Mitchell and Ness, and more. She has also captured photos for Getty Images and prominent athletes and artists. 

When she's not working or creating content you can find her at the beach, taking photos, drinking wine, or indulging in a new book, movie, or TV series.
