Tuesday, March 2nd - Donyshia Boston-Hill, CEO, Keeper of the Brand Marketing and Digital Agency

Donyshia has been captivating audiences for over 20 years.  She started her career in integrated marketing and event production at The New York Knicks, Madison Square Garden College Basketball, 98.7 Kiss FM, HOT 97, 101.9 RXP and The Loud Digital Network.  She also produced world renowned concerts including the Iconic HOT 97 Summer Jam.

Donyshia’s broadcast media credits include TV Correspondent and Associate Producer on The Donna Drake Show - Live it Up and Co-host / Producer of "The Vera Moore Show”, Radio Co-host of 90.3 FM WHPC Tower Talk Business radio show.  Boston-Hill is a contributing author of four books including The Fearless Living Experience, MY Now for the Future Woman, the Professional Black Woman and Women on the Rise.  She has laid the groundwork for her book, set to release in 2021.

She is a frequent speaker to audiences nationwide, ranging from college campuses and Fortune 500 companies to prestigious conferences, where she shares marketing strategies and solutions.  Boston-Hill is a mentor to dozens of women throughout the country, providing one-on-one guidance on entrepreneurship.

Donsyhia has a passion and expertise in event production and produces Essence Music Festival, Le Diner en Blanc Long Island, the Harlem Fine Arts Show, and Bethpage Polo at the Park.  Her hobbies include designing diamond engagement rings for Ice Princess NYC, Interior Decorating and Gardening. She chronicles her love for the holiday season with her mantra, “I only cook on holidays” and shares her inspirations on DonyshiaBostonHill.com.  During the 2020 Pandemic, she launched “The Boston-Hills Holiday”, Radio Specials with her family and introduced her children to entrepreneurship with Kelly’s Doll House and Keith’s Zone.  

Donyshia is an alumna of St. John’s University, New York University and the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business Program.  She resides in New York with her husband, and two lovely children.

Thursday, March 4th - Michelle C. Mays, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Champions for Philanthropy

Michelle has a passion for business and the community that extends from her professional affiliations to her volunteer work. As the co-founder and chief operating officer of Champions for Philanthropy, Michelle successfully manages the charitable efforts of professional athletes by helping them build, launch, manage and promote their philanthropic interests. 

Like the athletes she works with, Michelle is passionate about giving to the community. She volunteers in various capacities at her church, is president of the New England Chapter of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College, participates in city government, and is a former commissioner for her local fire department. She also holds a variety of work and volunteer experience in sports, having assisted with event management, client relations and fan engagement at events with the National Football Leaguethe National Basketball Association, the United States Tennis Association and the CIAA Basketball Tournament. Additionally, she has worked as a coach for local youth and adult basketball leagues, as a volunteer for the Jim Calhoun Classic charity events, and has served on the boards of local and national nonprofit organizations that work with youth through sports.

Michelle has over a decade of experience in nonprofit marketing and communications, and previously held positions at Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development and Georgia Power Company.

A native of West Haven, CT, Michelle graduated summa cum laude from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. While at Spelman, she was inducted into The Phi Beta Kappa Society and earned a certificate of Spanish studies from Benito Juárez Autonomous University in Oaxaca, Mexico. She received her MBA in Sports Marketing and Management from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
