Emily Glass, Education Coordinator for the Miami Marlins Player Development Department. Emily played two years of collegiate softball before returning to the game of baseball recreationally. She previously completed research on player development through a Watson Fellowship to examine practices in seven [7] countries. 

After playing in a Men’s baseball league in Australia, coaching Little League in Japan, and interning for Major League Baseball (MLB) in the Dominican Republic, her mission was to build an Educational Program and enhance a Player Development program for a professional baseball team. She is eager and excited to be part of the exceptional team making the Miami Marlins a first-class Championship Organization.

We’ll chat about her love for baseball, playing the game in Japan and how she is shaping the stars of tomorrow.

Kelly Swanson, President, Swanson Communications, has consistently delivered outstanding public relations results throughout her 30 + years of industry experience. She spent 10 years at a prominent New York City-based sports public relations agency prior to opening her own business, Swanson Communications, in 1997. Kelly’s experience developing and implementing full-scale, award-winning sports’ marketing and communications campaigns, coupled with creating and managing award-winning special events and broad-based, multi-tiered press tours and conferences, is unparalleled.

We’ll chat about her career start in public relations, her first client and how she dominates the world of boxing.
