What a week

ALL LIVES MATTER

I want to write about the great Lunchtime Conversations we had this week. However, I must acknowledge that I have a heavy heart tonight.

This week started with Amy Cooper tugging at her dog in Central Park and being a racist.

The next day, George Floyd is murdered by police brutality.

Protests, rioting and looting took over in many cities across America. While the Leader of the Free Country is feuding with Twitter.

How did we get here? Haven’t we learned anything from the Rodney King incident? As a country, we aren’t moving forward, we are moving backwards.

I’m lost for words. My heart is broken for so many reasons. We need to change the world. We need to do better. We need to educate people. We are all equal.
