Tuesday, October 20th - Sandy Diaz Haley, Vice President of Digital and Social Media, Mr. Cooper

Mr. Cooper, a national mortgage servicer where she is responsible for social media strategy, brand voice and corporate brand reputation.

Sandy is also the founder of Bada$$ Ladies of DFW, an online community bringing professional women together, to fuel passions, and to cultivate business relationships in an organic way, while also providing valuable resources and facilitating meaningful conversations. Two years ago, Sandy was laid off from her SVP position at a global public relations agency. As part of her job search, she planned a happy hour as a way to reconnect with her network, create new connections, and potentially find leads for prospective job opportunities. That happy hour has resulted into an online community with 1500+ like-minded women actively connecting, learning and growing and cultivating business relationships with one another.

Sandy is originally from Lima, Peru. She is a wife, a mother and a passionate spokesperson for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Bada$$ Ladies of DFW exists to bring professional women together, to fuel passions, and to cultivate business relationships in an organic way while also providing valuable resources and facilitating meaningful conversations. We provide a safe place where women can come together, ask questions, share ideas, and support one another. No competition, no rules — just camaraderie and fellowship. Attend our next networking event, join our private community and learn more here https://www.badassladies.com.

Thursday, October 22nd - Elle Winston, Artist

An unpredictable new voice in roots music, Elle Winston takes her training in classical technique and introduces it to her love of folk, blues and jazz traditions. Born in the midwest, raised in the southwest, and currently spreading love in Brooklyn, NY, her story is anything but linear. With lyrics that cut through the noise and vocal colors ranging from the softest whisper to a guttural scream - listening to her songs and witnessing her live performances evoke a startling reminder of the urgency of American music.

Elle released her debut album The Buy Back in 2017, and has previously released two EP's, Who Said It Was Simple? in 2011 and Uncertainty in 2013. She has supported a diverse range of artists, including Gil-Scott Heron, Carl Thomas, and Joan Jett. Her recent features include the Billboard Lounge at Barclays Center, the Apollo Music Cafe, City Winery NYC and on Apple Beats 1 Radio. She has been playing venues nationwide over the last three years including The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles; Valley Bar in Phoenix, AZ; Ace Hotel in Chicago, Mile of Music Festival in Wisconsin; and National Sawdust in Brooklyn, NY.

Make sure to take a lunch break and join us!

Until the next,
