Tuesday, September 15th - Eryn McVerry, SVP, Brand & Content Strategy, Vinik Sports Group

From her start in advertising to the world of esports and competitive video gaming to her current role with Vinik Sports Group (VSG), ownership group of the Tampa Bay Lightning, Eryn McVerry knows how to infuse her passion for sports into her career. As senior vice president of brand and content strategy, Eryn leads marketing efforts across the brand, digital, social and content for VSG properties.

Prior, Eryn led the launch of a digital entertainment network that featured top gamers from the world of professional sports, music and streaming. She’s worked at agency leaders Ogilvy and TBWA\Chiat\Day.  And, spearheaded brand campaigns on behalf of Budweiser, Gillette, NASCAR, U.S. Army and Verizon.

Eryn bleeds Maize and Blue as a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Thursday, September 17th - Shauna (Sikorski) Griffiths, CEO | Founder, SLG Impact

For Shauna making a positive impact on people and with her work has always been her North Star.  She spent 20+ years in Marketing and Brand Partnerships for professional sports and entertainment properties, and on the agency side. She has worked across verticals with brands from start-ups to the iconic including NIKE, WNBA, NBDL, Nets, Cirque du Soleil, Harley Davidson, Sesame Street, Harlem Globetrotters, AVON39, Muscular Dystrophy Association, QVC, TNT, TBS, National Geographic Channel, Oxygen Network, GameOn App and more. Shauna has also successfully coached people throughout their career journeys. Facing change and challenge, she decided it was time to catch her dream of creating a purpose-driven business ecosystem:  SLG Impact | Evolving Brands and People.

Shauna is a passionate, hybrid-marketer experienced in driving revenue and consumer engagement by defining strategy, storytelling, developing compelling marketing platforms and campaigns, and creating dynamic brand alliances internationally.  She believes developing  the work and the people go hand-in-hand, and embraces coaching as a key part of the equation.  Her experience includes history making brand launches, campaigns and partnerships,  and coaching countless people. She was also honored as a Game Changer by SportsBusiness Journal.   

Griffiths played basketball at the University of Michigan while getting her BA , and used her fifth year of collegiate eligibility running Cross Country for Eastern Michigan University while getting her MBA. She is a wellness enthusiast, avid cyclist and fan of the outdoors. Shauna lives in Colorado with her husband, John, and their dog, Peaty.
