Tuesday, August 18th - Betty Wong Ortiz, Content Executive

Betty has helped millions of readers get healthy and live well throughout much of her 20-year career as a magazine editor. But with the recent constriction of the media landscape, Betty made a pivot from editorial into content marketing roles at startups. Most recently, she was Director of Content at the digital discount pharmacy Blink Health. Betty has led editorial teams at major consumer lifestyle publications including Parents, Family Circle, Fitness, Bon Appetit, and Runner’s World, where she was the title’s first female editor-in-chief in its 51-year history.

After several months of unemployment due to a COVID-related layoff, Betty recently landed a new position as the Director of Marketing Content Strategy at Dropbox. A 6-time marathoner, she lives in Forest Hills, Queens with her husband and two teenage kids.

Thursday, August 20th - Kristin Connelly, Head of Global Marketing, Activision Blizzard Esports
