Tuesday, June 16th - Jessica Handler

Jessica (Quinlan) Handler is a proud graduate of Penn State. Since graduating she has resided in the New York City area, focusing her career on sports marketing and live experiences. Jessica has worked at Madison Square Garden, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment overseeing brand marketing and partnership activation for the launch and debut season of the Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk and On Location Experiences. Building their team and marketing operations from the ground up, she sought to redefine and monetize the premium Super Bowl fan experience. As Vice President of Marketing, she expanded her scope to marquee event partnerships across the NFL, PGA, and USGA.

Thursday, June 18th - Melissa Mitchner

Melissa Mitchner is the CEO and Founder of The Bark Shoppe, located in Harlem, NY. She grew up in the John P. Mitchel Houses in the Bronx.  She is a graduate of City As School Alternative High School, Hostos Community College, Lehman College and Columbia University CCBP Business Cohort. Melissa has over a decade in business management and expansion. Prior to entering the pet care industry she worked for Best Buy one of the largest retail companies in the nation and was responsible for hiring over 6,000 + people . She has 8 yrs experience in owning and managing a profitable pet care facility.

The Bark Shoppe has been featured on Fox Business,Good Morning America and various other media outlets. Melissa is also a founding member of a not profit Take Care of Harlem and also serves on the Jr. Board with The Food bank of New York City. Melissa is passionate about creating a space for diversity and inclusion in underserved communities.
