Seven years ago my assistant at the time walked into a meeting I was in and passed me a post it that read “call your partner, it’s important.”

I left the meeting, walked back to my office and called my partner.

I said “What’s going on?”

“You have to call Karen, it’s about Lisa.” She answered.

I hung up and called Karen.

Karen said “It’s Lisa. There was a plane crash and she was on the plane.”

I said “What?”

Yes, it was true. Our dear friend Lisa and three others were on a plane and they earned their wings. 🦋

My dear Lisa.

Devastated. Heartbroken. Tears.

My dear Lisa.

Was taken too early along with Susan and two other friends.

A friend who became family.

“E” that’s what she called me.

I miss her dearly.

I cherish our memories.

Whenever Lisa was going to do something new or attempt something BIG, she’d always say “E, I’m going to kick it.”

We always chuckled.

When I decided to launch a platform to inspire, educate and pay it forward.

Lisa came to mind.

This was something new and BIG.

Kick It By EP was born.

Thank you Lisa.

You inspired me.

You’ll always be in my heart.

And we’ll be kicking it until we meet again.
