You are a ray of light

A friend started a group during the pandemic. The purpose of the group is to support, network and share best practices with one another. There is no expectation other than to show up and share.

We recently met and it was great to see everyone - still virtual. Yes and the time has passed, however, we picked up right where we left off. The conversation quickly turned to how we are all trying to be kind to ourselves. Everyone was honest about what they are going through today and guess what, we are all going through the same process. One member of the group is in transition and the thoughts of “what are you good at” keep resonating. We chimed in to provide resouces on what can be done to help answer that question.

Have you asked yourself that question - what are you good at?

Another member is looking to make a change on the job front. So interesting the doubts that are bubbling up are around the requirements on a job description that don’t match the resume. We’ve all been there.

For this session, because it’s a safe space, my contribution was about self-affirmations. How the messages that pop up on my phone on a daily basis are helping me stay grounded.
