Mornings are better with coffee

No matter what industry you are in.

It’s cheaper to keep existing customers than to go out and get new customers.

Technology is great.

Convenience is amazing.

Customer service is everything.

For those who are in the service industry and have no interest in helping loyal customers.

You should know that customer service is everything.

Customer loyalty is priceless.

Today, this loyalty customer is running the other way.

Dunkin'​ didn’t deliver today.

An order was placed at a location which opens at 6am.

The order went through at 6:04am.

The order wasn’t ready at 6:07am.

Why?

The location was closed.

NOTE: The location not being open is not an isolated incident.

Understanding that there is a franchise model and not expecting anything.

This loyalty customer went to another location.

The situation was explained.

After 10 minutes, nothing was resolved.

The women behind the counter insisted that I was wrong and the location was open.

A photo with the time stamp showed the location was closed.

After going back to the original location where the coffee was order - still closed.

Another 15 minutes went by and the location was opened.

The coffee was placed on the mobile order counter.

Furious.

Taking the cup of coffee, my point of view was shared with the cashier.

This loyal customer processed to call the 1-800 number and file a complaint.

The complaint for both locations.

The morale of the story is that customer service is everything.

The women behind the counter made the situation worse.

All they had to do was make me a cup of coffee which probably only costs ~ .50 cents or so.

See I’m now educated to know the cost of goods.

Today, Dunkin'​ let me down.

Tomorrow, this loyal customer may go elsewhere.

Not kidding.
