Julie Allen, Vice President of Digital & Brand Creative, Howard Hughes Corporation
Julie Allen is currently Vice President of Digital & Brand Creative at the Howard Hughes Corporation where she oversees an in-house creative studio focused on the Seaport business in NYC. She also oversees digital across the entire HHC portfolio. Prior to joining HHC in 2017, Julie spent 11 years working for MTV Networks International rising to Vice President of Creative. While at MTV she helped to found MTV Breaks – a platform for young people looking to get their first break in creative industries and was the lead creative and strategist behind one of ad sales’ biggest brand partnerships. Additionally, she founded an art exhibition and auction that raised over $10M for charity. Julie started out her career at the BBC in London, where her first job was recruiting audiences to watch recordings of TV shows. In her spare time Julie likes to hike and hang out with her husky, Rudy.
Vidya Rao, Editorial Strategist, Square
Vidya Rao is a journalist and multimedia content producer with 10+ years experience across digital media and tech. She is currently an Editorial Strategist at Square, where she profiles restaurants and other innovative small businesses. She led editorial at Uber Eats, has worked with brands including DotDash, Healthywomen.org, and NBCNews, and was previously the Senior Food Editor at The TODAY Show.
