Tuesday, November 3rd - Alexandra Jannello Tuck, Senior Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility for NBCUniversal

In this role Ali helped lead the strategic development and launch of Comcast NBCUnites, NBCU’s social impact and employee engagement platform.  She leads marketing and communication for CSR initiatives and oversees properties including The More You Know, NBCU’s Emmy-Award winning PSA campaign, The More You See Her and Green is Universal. Ali also acts as a strategic advisor to brands and businesses on CSR-related topics and initiatives.    

Prior to joining NBCU, Ali led Corporate Social Responsibility for Viacom where she was responsible for Viacom’s global CSR strategy, spearheading corporate social impact initiatives and developing cross-company partnerships with corporations and non-profit organizations.  She oversaw all employee engagement and volunteer programs under the Viacommunity umbrella, Viacom’s employee giving program and philanthropic investments, and produced award-winning cause marketing campaigns.

Before leading CSR for Viacom, Ali spent many years across the company as a senior sales and marketing executive for Nickelodeon and as Client Services lead for Viacom Plus, where she managed some of Viacom’s largest advertising partners across MTV Networks and CBS.  Prior to Viacom, Ali held various roles at American Express, the National Hockey League and the New York Knicks.

Ali sits on the Board of Directors for Get Schooled.  She has a BA in Communication from UCLA and an MBA from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University.  Ali resides in Long Island with her husband, three daughters and two dogs. 

Thursday, November 5th - Michelle Lam, Founder, BKLYNITE MEDIA

Michelle launched Bklynite Media, Inc in 2019. It provides public relations, branding and social media services to the hospitality industry.

Michelle was a financial public relations’ communication publicist and strategist. She focused on brand and reputation management, media, crisis communication, and social media marketing. She serviced the financial services sectors, included hedge funds, alternative investment, private equity, and banks. Additionally, she launched Ogilvy’s very first healthcare campaigns during the healthcare reform time period. Her versatility carried into the tourism market which she raised awareness in South America and resulted in winning the PRSA’s Reputation & Brand Management (2014) award.

In 2018, Michelle led Idolcam’s social media platforms. Idolcam is a 4k video camera fit for today’s vloggers. She worked with the CEO and vloggers on Idolcam's kickstarter and crowdfunding campaigns.

Publicist for Better Chinatown USA, a nonprofit organization based in New York City. She spearheads Better Chinatown USA’s public relations, marketing and business efforts. Better Chinatown USA and Michelle were featured on TLC network’s reality show Cakeboss featuring Carlo's Bakery—the segment aired in Season 7 episode 4: Fast Hands and a Flaming Pearl.
