Tuesday, June 23rd - Karima Khawja

Karima Khawja is a dedicated, creative media sales leader with a strong passion for the multicultural Market. Karima has spent her last 14 years with Univision Communications in various local media leadership roles and is currently VP Business Development for National Audio/Digital/Experiential. In her current role Karima, focuses on consulting national advertisers on developing effective Hispanic marketing programs that will drive growth for their brands.

Karima is a strong believer in community involvement and empowerment programs and has volunteered with Girls Inc. of NYC, Maestro Cares and various community organizations.  Karima graduated Cum Laude from Wellesley College with BA in Urban Studies and Economics. She resides in NYC with her husband and two young daughters. Her passions are family, social justice, music and arts & crafts….and Boston Sports teams.

Thursday, June 25th - Rachel Jacobson

Rachel Jacobson is the President of the Drone Racing League (DRL), the global, professional drone racing property. She spearheads global partnerships and media rights deals, and leads the marketing and business development teams, bringing to DRL her legacy of creating transformative partnerships with leading sports and technology brands. Prior to DRL, Rachel spent 21 years at the NBA as their SVP of Global Partnerships, where she closed nearly $1 billion in partnership sales and earned numerous accolades including Sports Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Award. Most recently, she served as the Chief Business Development Officer at Landit, the market leader in personalized career pathing technology to increase the success and engagement of women and diverse groups in the workplace.
